Parade Hours

Saturday July 5:

  • Gather at 11:30 by Lördagsplan

  • Speaches and performances 11:30-13:00

  • Parade starts at 13:00

  • Parade ends ~15:00 in Folkets park

Parade route

The parade starts at Lördagsplan and makes its way through the city past Triangeln, up to Möllevångstorget and back down towards the main entrance of Folkets Park ❤️

The parade takes about 2 hours.

What to expect

Malmö Pride’s Parade is one of the biggest highlights of our festival, when thousands of people come together to march for LGBTQIA+ rights, it’s an important manifestation for a safer, freer, more equal society.

Stick around in Pride Park afterwards for concerts, celebration and community. There will be a variety of activities and of course our amazing headliners.

The parade will be on the 5th July 2025.

We gather at 11.30 at Lördagsplan, opposite Stadsbiblioteket. At Lördagsplan we will have a stage where Alice Bah Kuhnke will be our keynote speaker for this jubilee.

There will also be a wedding and performance of this year's pride anthem by The Guilt! Our host at lördagsplan will be André Gatu, known from stadsteatern and barnkanalen. We start marching at 13.00 towards Folkets Park. Everyone is welcome!

Stick around in Pride Park afterwards for concerts, celebration and community. There will be a variety of activities and of course our amazing headliners.

If you belong to an organization wishing to march en masse in our parade then you’ll need to sign up below. Individuals can just turn up.

Vem behöver ansöka?

Om du som privatperson vill gå i paraden, själv eller i grupp, behöver du inte göra någon ansökan varken för dig själv eller ditt sällskap, du/ni behöver bara vara på plats ca en timme innan paraden startar. 

För Malmö Pride är det oerhört viktigt att Pride inte används endast i marknadsföringssyfte utan att det också arbetas aktivt med hbtqia+-inkludering. Därför är det bara tillåtet för organisationer som inte är hbtqia+-relaterade att delta i paraden om man ställer sig bakom Malmö Prides värdegrund.

Samtliga organisationer som vill medverka i paraden med eget ekipage eller under gemensam banderoll, med eller utan fordon, måste ansöka om att göra det. Eventuella kostnader tillkommer enligt villkoren nedan.

Kommersiella företag kan endast delta i paraden om de innehar samarbetsavtal med Malmö Pride.

Om ditt företag redan har ett samverkansavtal med Malmö Pride är det bara att fylla i ansökan nedan, om din organisation däremot inte har ett samverkansavtal med Malmö Pride men ni är intresserade av att samarbeta och/eller delta i årets Prideparad, hör av er till projektledare Andrea Correa på andrea@malmopride.com.

Villkor och priser för deltagande:

Malmö Prides syskonorganisationer, ideella organisationer och föreningar relaterade till Malmö Pride, samt våra samverkanspartners deltar helt gratis. Vi behöver bara veta på vilket sätt ni önskar delta.

Ideella organisationer och föreningar utan samverkansavtal betalar 2 500 kr för egen sektion i paraden (banderoll/lådcykel/likadana profilkläder) eller ett totalpris på 5 000 kr för deltagande i paraden samt utställarplats i Pride House 2-4 Juli. Fackförbund betalar 5000 kr för egen sektion i paraden (banderoll/lådcykel/likadana profilkläder) eller ett totalpris på 10 000 kr för deltagande i paraden samt utställarplats i Pride House 2-4 Juli.

Myndigheter betalar 15 000 kr för egen sektion i paraden (banderoll/lådcykel/likadana profilkläder), eller ett totalpris på 20 000 kr för deltagande i paraden samt utställarplats i Pride House 2-4 juli.

I år är ekipage (bil/flakbil/lastbil) gratis men du måste registrera dem nedan.

Malmö Pride Parade 2024

Who needs to apply?

If you are an individual who wants to participate in the parade, alone or in a group, you do not need to apply for yourself or your group, you just need to be there about an hour before the parade starts. 

For Malmö Pride, it is extremely important that Pride is not only used for marketing purposes, but that it also works actively with LGBTQIA+ inclusion. Therefore, non-LGBTQIA+related organizations are only allowed to participate in the parade if they support the values of Malmö Pride.

All organizations that wish to participate in the parade with their own float or under a common banner, with or without a vehicle, must apply to do so. The costs are outlined below.

Commercial companies can only participate in the parade if they have a collaboration agreement with Malmö Pride.

If your company already has a collaboration agreement with Malmö Pride, just fill in the application below, however, if your organization does not have a collaboration agreement with Malmö Pride but you are interested in collaborating and/or participating in this year's Pride Parade, please contact project manager Andrea Correa at andrea@malmopride.com.

Conditions and prices for participation:

Malmö Pride's sibling organizations, non-profit organizations and associations related to Malmö Pride, as well as our collaborative partners participate completely free of charge. We just need to know in what way you wish to participate.

Non-profit organizations and associations without a collaboration agreement pay 2500 SEK for their own section in the parade (banner/box bike/similar profile clothing), or a total price of 5000 SEK to be in the parade AND to have a stall at Pride House between 2-4 July.

Unions pay 5000 SEK for participation in the parade or a total price of 10000 SEK for participation in the parade AND to have a stall at Pride House.

Political parties are asked to contact general manager Andrea Correa for further information at andrea@malmopride.com

Public authorities and government agencies pay SEK 20000 for their own section in the parade (banner/box bike/similar profile clothing), or a total price of 25000 SEK to be in the parade AND to have a stall at Pride House between 2-4 July.

This year, vehicles (cars/vans/trucks etc.) are free, but you must register them below.
