Where?
The parade will go from Bagers Plats to Stortorget, through the Malmöfestival. The parade will end in front of the main stage in connection with a concert with our darling Ellen Krauss'

Gathering 17.00 - poster workshop and makeup at Bagers Plats
Departure 17.30
End around 18.30 main stage

Why?
As Malmöfestivalen celebrates 40 years and Malmö Pride 10 years we have combined our celebrations to highlight the queer community at the festival. Some community members have expressed that they have felt unsafe at the Malmöfestival (especially if they stand out visually) and we think that the more we are seen, and the more people support us, the more obvious our place in the cityscape becomes. Let's help Malmö become a more tolerant and loving city!

Paraden kommer att gå från Bagers Plats till Stortorget, genom Malmöfestivalen. Paraden avslutas framför stora scenen i samband med att vår darling Ellen Krauss spelar

Varför?
Då malmöfestivalen firar 40 och Malmö Pride 10 år har vi slagit ihop våra firanden och skapar synlighet för communityt och alla som stöttar oss på festivalen. Vissa ur communityt har uttryckt att de känt sig otrygga på Malmöfestivalen (speciellt om de sticker ut visuellt) och vi tänker att ju mer vi syns desto mer självklar blir vår plats i stadsbilden! Tillsammans gör vi Malmö till en mer tolerant och kärleksfylld stad!
