Indigo Flamingo med Skånes Dansteater på Malmö Pride 2026
Välkommen tillbaka till Indigo Flamingo - ett drömlikt klubbuniversum inspirerat av platser och personer ur Malmös HBTQIA+- historia!
Indigo Flamingo är en interaktiv dansföreställning av koreografen Gwyn Emberton i samarbete med medlemmar av Malmös HBTQIA+ community och Malmö Pride. Din värd för kvällen, DJ:n Qarl Qunt (Sofia Södergård) och 6 dansare välkomnar dig in i Indigo Flamingos drömlika klubbvärld. Välkomna att bli en del av historien i denna två timmar långa interaktiva föreställning, inspirerad av Malmös queera människor och platser, då och nu.
Ta steget ut på dansgolvet eller bara njut av atmosfären i denna indigofärgade värld av glömda minnen och avtäckta gömda berättelser.
Klädkod: kom som du vill eller “dress to impress”, som ditt mest fantastiska jag.
Indigo International Song Contest
Nytt för året är att Indigo Flamingo är värd för en speciell revival av 90-talets favorit, Indigo International Song Contest. Detta är din chans att lipsynca inför publiken och bli en ännu större del av Indigo Flamingo-showen.
Du kan anmäla dig genom att mejla indigoflamingo@skanesdansteater.se och ange vilken låt du vill lipsynca till (endast de första 90 sekunderna). Om du anmäler dig före showen (upp till 24 timmar före och max fem anmälningar) får du två gratisbiljetter och en gratis specialutgåva av Indigo Flamingo-T-shirt.
Om det finns platser kvar kan du anmäla dig på kvällen och köra till en låt från en förutbestämd lista.
Alla fem deltagare uppträder i 90 sekunder och publiken får rösta på sin favorit. Vinnaren får ett roligt pris.

Om projektet Indigo Flamingo
Indigo Flamingo är resultatet av ett årslångt projekt med samma namn, där den Malmöbaserade koreografen Gwyn Emberton hyllar sina två communities i nya hemstaden Malmö: HBTQIA+ och dans.
Med start under Malmö Pride 2023 har projektet samlat Malmös queercommunity i dansworkshops, ledda av olika danslärare i olika dansstilar, alla med en ganska queer twist. Alla träffar har varit en plats för communityt att dela erfarenheter med varandra.

Indigo Flamingo with Skånes Dansteater at Malmö Pride 2026
Welcome back to Indigo Flamingo – a dreamlike clubland inspired by people and places in Malmö's LGBTQIA+ history and present
Indigo Flamingo is an interactive performance by the choreographer Gwyn Emberton in collaboration with members of the LGBTQIA+ community of Malmö and Malmö Pride. Host and DJ Qarl Qunt (Sofia Södergård) invites you to step into the dreamlike clubland of Indigo Flamingo, filled with the highs and lows of memories and ideas that appear out of the dance floor itself. This is a celebration of community, and you are all invited to become part of the story in this two-hour interactive show, inspired by Malmö’s queer people and places, past and present. You can take to the dancefloor or simply soak up the atmosphere of the fabulous indigo-tinted world of lost memories and hidden tales revealed, with new surprises added for the return of Indigo Flamingo.
Dress code: come as you please or dress to impress, but in all your fabulousness.
Indigo International Song Contest
For 2026, Indigo Flamingo will play host to a special kind of revival of 90’s favourite Indigo's International Song Contest. Inspired by the original, it's your opportunity to lip-sync to an audience and become even more part of the Indigo Flamingo show.
You can enter before the show by emailing indigoflamingo@skanesdansteater.se including the song you would like to lip-sync to (the first 90 seconds only). If you enter before the show (up to 24 hours before and max five entries), you will get two free tickets and a free special edition Indigo Flamingo T-shirt.
If there are spots left you will be able to enter on the night and lip-sync to a song from a pre-set list.
All five entrants will perform for 90 seconds and the audience get to vote for their favourite. The winner receives a fun prize.

About the Indigo Flamingo project
Indigo Flamingo is the result of a year-long project of the same name, where Malmö based choreographer Gwyn Emberton pays tribute to his two communities in his new hometown of Malmö: LGBTQIA+ and dance.
Starting during Malmö Pride in 2023, the project has brought together the community in dance workshops, led by different queer dance teachers in different dance styles, all with a rather queer twist. All events have been a place for the community to share a space and experiences together.
